Adam,

Nice approach. I agree with you. I am happy to say that with a Google search of first and last name, I currently have five hits in the first page alone! I would attest to the fact that the time spent of getting your name out there first as a proven solution provider and use your current company as the vehicle in that order. There is nothing wrong with helping your company recover it's ROI on you, and then delivering beyond that. I don't spend time now wondering where that referral came from, but usually ask so that way I can compliment the sender. I take networking very serious as pay it forward. So if you have a current dilemma, tap into my network at http://www.linkedin.com/in/dctechrecruiter and challenge me for assistance. It's good to know you and thanks again for the refreshing approach!

Cheers in recruiting,

Hi Adam, your straight forward video was refreshing. I'm pretty new to social marketing, and I agree with you, the KEY is building relationships and being willing to give value to others. I'm also on DIGG and have found it helped tremendously to pushing me up on the search engine rankings. Still working out how to use the other sites. Added you as a friend on facebook.
I wish you great success.
